Chad Lail
Strength Ministry
Chad Lail is a former WWE wrestler and a proud United States Marine Corps veteran. Born on June 6, 1982, in Hickory, North Carolina, Chad developed a passion for professional wrestling and bodybuilding at a young age—dreaming of one day living out his passion in the ring. For over 23 years, he made that dream a reality, traveling the world with top wrestling organizations including the NWA, IMPACT Wrestling, and a memorable four-year run in WWE.
Chad’s talents have also taken him beyond the ring. He has appeared in numerous major motion pictures and was featured as a playable character in the 2020 WWE video game.
Raised in a close-knit family and deeply rooted in faith, Chad grew up attending the family church—built by his grandfather and uncles in the early 1950s. In March of 2000, he gave his life to Jesus Christ, a decision that has guided him ever since. Through life’s trials and triumphs, Chad has stood firmly on his faith and continues to share the message of Christ wherever his journey takes him.
From the battlefield to the wrestling ring to the mission field, Chad Lail’s life is a testimony of discipline, resilience, and unwavering faith. Chad is the proud father of a 9-year-old daughter.

Matthew Stout
Iron Crusaders - President
Entrepreneur | Athlete | Strength Coach | Motivational Speaker | Evangelist
Matthew Stout stands at 6'0" and 300 lbs, a physical presence with an even stronger spirit. A former high school varsity letterman in both basketball and baseball, Matthew’s sports career began early. As a sophomore, his high school baseball team reached the state final four, finishing in 4th place. His achievements continued when, in 1993, his performance as a hitter and pitcher helped lead his Korey League baseball team to a National Championship in Paducah, Kentucky.
Matthew's journey continued into college, where he walked on as a running back/fullback at Southwest Missouri State University (SMSU), while pursuing a degree in Wildlife Biology. In 2003, he tried out for the Missouri Cyclones semi-pro football team, impressively running a 4.6-second 40-yard dash and securing a spot as a defensive end. During his two seasons with the team, Matthew set a team sack record.
In 2007, Matthew shifted his focus to powerlifting and strength ministry. This newfound passion has reinforced his lifelong belief that physical strength is only one part of the equation—true strength lies in purpose, heart, and perseverance.
As an entrepreneur, Matthew has owned and operated a successful construction company for over 22 years. His faith and dedication have extended to speaking on major television networks, including TBN, CBN, ABC, NBC, and CW. For nearly two decades, he’s spoken in schools and churches, spreading a message of hope and healing to the hurting, and inspiring others to find purpose through faith.
Matthew’s greatest passion, however, is not his athletic or professional accomplishments, but his relationship with Jesus Christ. More than anything, he strives to lead others to find hope, strength, and salvation, showing through his own life that faith is the foundation of true strength.
